WJVO Privacy Policy – How We Protect Your Personal Data

Your privacy matters to WJVO. This Privacy Policy explains exactly what personal information we collect when you use the platform, why we collect it, how we store and protect it, who we share it with, and what rights you have as a player. We have written this in plain language so it is actually useful to read, not just a wall of legal text you skim past.

This policy applies to all registered WJVO accounts. Questions? Contact us at support@wjvo.app.

Our commitment to you

Six Things WJVO Commits to on Your Privacy

Plain-language summary – not a substitute for the full policy below. Please read the complete document for all details.

We Protect Your Data

WJVO uses encrypted connections for all account access, payment processing, and personal data storage. Your information is not stored in plain text and access is restricted to authorised personnel only.

No Selling to Advertisers

WJVO does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third-party advertisers or marketing firms. The data you provide is used to operate your account and improve the WJVO platform – nothing else.

Minimal Data Collection

WJVO collects only the information needed to run your account, process payments, meet legal obligations, and keep the platform secure. We do not collect data for its own sake.

Your Rights Are Real

You have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of your personal data held by WJVO. These are genuine rights you can exercise by contacting the support team – they are not hidden behind a form that never gets processed.

Philippine Context

WJVO's privacy practices are informed by the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act 10173) and its implementing rules. Filipino players are protected under this framework when using WJVO.

We Notify You of Changes

If WJVO makes material changes to this Privacy Policy, registered players will be notified by email or through a platform notice before the changes take effect. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

  • Right to Access You can request a copy of the personal data WJVO holds about you. WJVO will provide this within a reasonable timeframe. Contact support@wjvo.app with the subject line "Data Access Request".
  • Right to Correction If any of your personal data held by WJVO is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to have it corrected. You can update some information directly through your account settings. For other corrections, contact support.
  • Right to Erasure You can request deletion of your personal data where WJVO no longer has a legal basis to retain it. Note that certain data must be retained for legal compliance purposes and cannot be deleted on request – WJVO will explain any such limitations when responding to a deletion request.
  • Right to Object You can object to WJVO processing your data on the basis of legitimate interests, or opt out of direct marketing communications at any time. Objections are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
  • Right to Data Portability Where processing is based on consent or contract performance, you can request your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format for transfer to another controller.
  • Right to Withdraw Consent Where WJVO processes your data based on your consent (such as for marketing communications), you can withdraw that consent at any time without penalty. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.
